maybe you 12 year olds arent used to mmorpgs... where you have to run the same shit a few times to get the wep you want, or to level up. but its a known fact in any mmorpg. lv 50 dungeon? i might be able to get it done at lv 44. this is reality. yes the curve of xp was..... to say the least. lowered. and it was intentional. alpha was... .lets see how fast people can get through content at current and/or over the req level. closed beta.... lets see how fast people can get through content being underleveled.

in other words.

if your struggling through lv 20 with minimum weps and stats.... you are probably realllllllly bad at this game. or, NOT INT HE RIGHT PLACE TO BE GAINING XP.

they are balancing this game different than JP. and the xp will be fixed. so shut the fuck up about it.

but im getting lv 44 weps at lv 24 business, why... simple. your getting weps to upgrade so that wen you hit that level, its done, and you have it. i am now lv 30, and farming the town BEFORE kyoto... WHY? cuz thats where all my shit is.

this is not like WoW where everything is your level and you just mindlessly click que, to instantly teleport to a level, and just lol to free gear. this is a free to play game, where you have t owork and get luck in rng to get a sick wep that you cna use for 10 levels.

dont want to run Hono in izumo for your wep? then shut up and use your shitty wep and keep die'n.

is this game grindy? ya. and its by design. with shit xp rates i hit lv 30 running with the same 5-8 people, killed odin, have crazy amounts of good weps. heal for over 1.2k, and buff the shit out of you so you feel like god. i have no complaints.

i have more fun with my people grinding the same 2-3 levels for their weps... and fucking around. than i do progressing the story. want to be powerrful? put in the work. in WoW, you had dailies, and heroics, and raids, and 10 other things with professions and shit. this game, keeps it simple. run dungeons. get magetama recipies, get liqour reciipies, get weps, get money, upgrade, own face.

this isnt difficult people.

If all you're going off of is comparing this to WoW, which I have heard so much about, then try playing other free to play games and you will see NONE of them are horrible like this. A level 10 SHOULD NOT have a quest to enter a dungeon 8 levels higher than what they are. The entire system for this game is screwed up. Like I've said before, I've tested enough games to know that this one is way out of balance. Lylah, just because you may have hours upon hours to spend grinding and have people to party doesn't mean EVERYONE has either or both. I don't party. Why? I have my reason and it's none of your business to know.

And by the way, with your rude attitude, if you have a problem with people voicing their opinions, don't read the thread, don't reply. If anyone is acting/sound like a 12 year old, it's you. I deal with them enough to know.

If you don't like the game instead of complaining why don't you play something else? everyone has to go through the same stuff, nobody forces you to stick around. I've played many mmorpg's most of them till end game sure some of them start off nice and fast but in the end the grind is real, i find this game allot easyer that dragons nest and i've completed the beta (in about 14hours play time) aswell as reached level 30+ you probably just dont understand the mechanics of the game if you're having a hard time with this game, there really is no reason to cry anymore.

The whole item thing isnt a big deal either, most maps you can grind efficiently will give you the gear for around your level or just above, sure you will get to a point when your level 20 finding level 40 gear but your not forced to look for items there and you cant always expect what you want when your questing.

the only grief I have with the game is the way the exp scales when you hand in quests making quests kinda obsolete other than that I feel most things are fine.

I never claimed not to like the game. I was stating that the game needs either A. more quests or B. more exp. Which is what a big part of what this thread is about. I've never said anything about items, so I don't know where this is coming from. The sword I use suits my level and is plus 30...for now. Maybe I don't understand the mechanics of this game because I don't get the point of needlessly grinding.

Anyway, point is need more quests or more exp because a level 13 SHOULD NOT be doing a level 18 dungeon. At least not when the bosses are impossible to beat. If you have tips, tricks, or suggestions, I'd be glad to hear them. Otherwise, I stick with more exp or quests.

I feel there is a large inaccuracy on what they tell you the recommended level for dungeons are. At the recommended level, the dungeon becomes so easy that you can pretty much 1 hit kill the boss, not to mention the rest of the dungeon.

Truth. I wonder if people notice that after every piece of main quest they finish, ALL the other towns get shit tonnes of quests. Sure, they don't give a lot of exp on their own, but the sheer number of them (and most of them I already have the items to turn in) make for an easy level or two per main quest node.

idc about the level rate, if it's 10x lower or even 20x, I don't really care. But at least fix the "recommended level" for dungeon.

I have played EN Alpha, and JP CBT and JP Official, so I can pretty much measure my strength through mobs in dungeons without having to look at my level compare to the mob's level. And being a bow user I can pretty much survive through most dungeons if I don't screw up. That's why I haven't grind a bit and have been advancing nicely through the story without grinding. However, those who are new to the game will be easily thrown off by the fact that they are asking u to go to a lvl 18 dungeon while u're still lvl 6. Most MMORPG doesn't require u to grind at least till level 30~40, and this game basically asking ppl to grind since level 1 which is unacceptable.

And then when they get to the "recommended level" the whole area will be too easy for them they can basically one hit everyone mobs and kill the boss easily. Pretty much anti-climatic and doesn't even worth all the grinding that they've been through. The disappointment alone will kill a lot of enjoyment for sure.

Oh and before u say anything, I used to play a lot of grinding-excessive (not even intensive anymore) including the traditional no-quest-just-grind games like MU Korean server which took me a whole month, 6 hours a day, to reach level 5. So ur argument about "u kids are just too used to the easy games, play some RPG and l2grind please" doesn't apply to me.
