How many kills did it take you to get the new fundoshi?

How long did you have to grind to get the fundoshi from the ittanmomen? It took me around 2 hours of grinding and 280 kills. Just how rare is the item?

Edit: Apparently you can get one of the npcs to craft one for you...

LOL... I could imagine your expression when you found the side quest to craft the fundoshi.

Are we counting alpha test? If so I legit gave up on that stupid thing. Even after reaching a point where I could one shot the ones in the first field and trying that forever nope. Never got it. And freaking of course in this CBT now that there is an actual quest to make one I just randomly pick it up from one of the very first ones I killed. Screw that quest and EVERYTHING it stands for.
