I can think of 4 Armors Erza wears that fit just fine into this game. Can't really see any outfits besides the one Zoro wore at the beginning after the time skip being used. Naruto also has possible outfits to use I can think of some Shizune's outfit, Tsunade's outfit, Iron Country Samurai armor and Neji's outfit all fit into the setting.

But I don't see Cyberstep doing some kind of deal with Shonen Jump anytime soon

Makes sense. Now that i think about it there are some other outfits aside from the normal Ninja outfits of the 5 nations on naruto, that could fit.

Like i said before. They don't have too, There's a difference between Copying Completely and using something as a Reference or Guide. Pretty much all Artists know this. Some take things too the extreme tho. some say "OH NO i cannot look at someone Else's work! I can't even look at the color of the outfit!!" and others say "I'll just copy the whole thing including the village's ninja symbol >:D" Both of which are idiots. The first one tho. i've met afew like that. Thet are actually good at what they do and it is all 100% original. But takes alot more work Especially when you learn every corner of the human body for the first time ._. not sure how they get over that hump.

And now I am thinking of Momotarou wearing a Zoro costume.
Gee, thanks. (I know there has been no statements about costumes for allies, but still...)

Just to clarify when I was referring to how it may be difficult/cost a lot I was specifically referring to if they actually approached and got consent from the copyright holders. Going around that with the whole "it isn't REALLY Luffy *wink wink nudge nudge*" type thing is a different matter. With that said I am GUESSING that CS wont do things that way and will instead do actual full crossovers if they do anything like that for our version. The reason I guess that is because the JP version is (or was if it ended by now) currently doing a "legit" crossover with the anime Tantei Opera Milky Holmes where you can get the outfit of one of the main girls and recruit her as a "guest" (idk if its temporary or not. you need to ask someone like minatou about that.) partner.

Oh and on the topic of anime I don't believe anyone here actually called any shows bad. I may not make any effort to hide my dislike of some of them (I call naruto narutard for a reason after all) but note I called them "overrated" and not "bad". How good/bad SAO or the other "big" shows are has nothing to do with the FACT that nearly all of them are overrated. Which is fine as even if they are overrated they can still be quite enjoyable but they are not the masterpieces some people make them out to be.

no one called me here but i have an opinion too xD.

in clothings i have to admit that i want to see my character wearing and looking like my favorite anime character or just an anime charater i really liked "because that way is more cool" -bravo. But in terms of clothing and fandoms i would like to see samurai armors or miko clothes because this kind of clothes are a bit "neutral".

"mind based char with "miko" costume yay!, guy with an oversized nodachi wearing samurai armour!." and even more costumes like an outfit for the fan* weapon.

and seeing the weapons from other cultures too i can imagine a mongol archer, a northern viking with an axe, and i think leaving my opinion here because i started to feel like i just missed my own point xD.
-reads and jumps to conclusion in the point i was doing-

conlcusion: before the anime clothes some other clothes may get in because this expands more than just clothes wnough to count with the fingers in your hand.
like for example a roman armor for the spear of zeus, and who knows? maybe a templar spear with templar clothings and go to take back jerusalen xD , because they can come up with even more desings than just the cool school uniform in four different ways to wear it.(reckless student and smartboy for summer and winter xD)

(i have nothing against the school uniform or any anime outfit, this is just what i think and is more like organizing the way outfits may come out so every outfit may shine by themselves.)
*googled and seems like the weapon is called tessen and i don't know if it have an outfit or not, ¡boo for kriz!
(Haru Glory outfit, Rave as nodachi weapon e.e, the silver spear of Hamrio Musica Q.Q things wich may never happen u.u)

Whether or not something is "overrated" is subjective to opinion. It isn't a fact. An anime you consider to be over rated might be a masterpiece to another person, and vice versa. They like it, so to them, it's amazing. To you, they don't have the same level of enjoyment. That's fine. But when you use derogatory terms to refer to those animes (aka, narutard) you will get people up in arms about it because they'll find it offensive, and won't see the rest of the point behind your post because they'll be blinded by fandom loyalties and whatnot. Not that this has happened here-at least not yet. Everyone has been pretty civil. But it does happen.

I'm not saying anyone should hide their dislike, but bringing it into a thread like this derails the point completely, especially when there is going to be a great deal of difference over what people want to see implemented v.s. what they don't. If we want to see this thing happen, I think the pros and cons of it, and what we'd like to see should be weighed and presented to the developers without giving them excess to sift through, so that they take us more seriously.

Not going to lie, Cyberstep's done cameo-style characters before.

Not-Saber comes replete with her own not-Excalibur move.
And of course...

That being said, I'd like to see what clothing they have available currently before delving into additional content.

When a show is considered good/bad/overrated by a pretty large majority of people yes I do consider it a generally accepted fact even though there will of course be a few people that don't think that. Besides how good/bad/overrated a show is isn't the same as how much someone liked it. Even if I recognize that a show is some amazing masterpiece I may not like it for some reason or another and the opposite can be true of shows I recognize as bad.

Assuming we get all the clothes that we had in alpha back I think there was a pretty good selection. I know someone had a clothing guide pre forum wipe but im not sure if that person ever put it back up. Either way considering how you can mix and match the clothes there was a good enough selection that you really shouldn't see any one else looking similar to you and most of the clothes (For the females at least. I wouldn't know about males.) do look pretty distinct.

Just as an example I can recall 2 outfits. 1 was a shrine maiden outfit which looked pretty much EXACTLY like what it would in an anime but you get a fox tail and fox ears to go with it. The 2nd was an angel outfit which gave you an ACTUAL pair of angel wings. And yes 90% of the time I was set up so that I had both the fox tail AND the angel wings on at the same time. XD Pretty sure I remember something giving giant translucent butterfly wings that were purple/pink too.

Of course who knows if we actually will see the return of the alpha outfits or what new outfits may be added at launch. I think we will probably see most, if not all, of them again as I cant really see why they would remove any of them when they are already pretty much in the game. Hopefully that gives you at least a little bit of an idea as to what the clothing situation was like in alpha and what the situation will probably be like on launch.
