"ninja" does not exist in this game.

If you're thinking dex build, the swords are not always katana.

They aren't really dual katana, As seen in my guide(the pictures at the top) the twin swords are actually shorter then the single katana(Their attack range is atad shorter too). So they are more like "Dual Wakizashi" or "Dual Kodachi". And as ST said the blades have different looks which is common in any game when you get a higher lvl weapon. So sometimes they look more like sushi knives or Arabian swords. And so it confuses less people(Especially ST) I have Renamed "Ninja" too "Rogue"

So Rogues don't exist?... Funny last i checked there were Bows and Dual "Daggers" in this game. Ninja is in away a Japanese version of a rogue after all, Atleast that's the way i see it. kinda thought it made sense and fit this game more, But my mistake.

Weapon of choice doesn't depict profession. The closest thing to profession that we have are "Kind, Daring, Cautious, Reliable, and Strong." The rest is up to player role playing.
So, if you want to role play as a ninja, nothing is stopping you, but there is no "ninja" character class.

Your welcome kyo ^ ^

@Tigerruss
CTs are more so a base, Atleast the way i see it. because you really don't have too follow them, Sure if you do (From the sounds of it->) you get extra bonuses in the stats that start at 7. But otherwise Your "Role" is your "Class" in a sense, each person plays a role in a party, some will be a healer(Cleric) some will be a Magic AoE user(Mage) And some will be hybrids later i'm sure... They will probably be a jack of all trades if anything ST has been saying is true, And your Class(Role) is dependent on what stat you primarily stack on for damage. But either way the Ninja thing was a name me and some alpha players picked and for some reason ST wants too bicker about it. So i changed it to a more "American(WoW/Common)" name "Rogue" to less confuse people, And him.(You should have seen the previous names... One was "Wood Cutter" >.>) So i assure you in the background there is a "Rogue(/Ninja)" Class, Just as much as there is a Cleric, and several people play it.

Can confirm I've never heard anyone in game refer to classes as any of the ones you've stated. Almost everyone calls themselves:

A) By their character type (Kind, Daring, etc.)
B) By their stat allocation (Pure power, Vit/Mnd, etc.)
C) By their weapon focus (Sword build, Oodachi build, Twin Swords build, etc.)

By coming up with these names you and your group are just adding to the confusion.

Character typing gives you massive stat bonuses. By level 105, you should get 20+ on several stats based on your character typing.

You don't have to follow them, but you should at least pick a type that has one of its main stats as the stat you are wishing to spec. For example, many people who plan to build power will choose a daring build.

I never said anything about anyone being a jack of all trades, I merely said that you're able to branch out your stats at higher levels because there is a stat cap(100 base). People just tend to add certain secondary stats because of their additional benefits. People will build "hybrid" at later levels because it is simply not possible to spec a single stat anymore.

Hence, people start building their second/third/whatever stat.

A true jack of all trades is a horrible idea, as it would, quite literally, be good for nothing. Soloing with 60 of each stat is much, much more difficult than having 100 of a stat because of the non-linear scaling, and supportive party members with less distributed stats would be more useful for support. (With this kind of build, you would be doing little to no damage in a party because of the monster status scaling, and would be forced into a supportive role.)

The problem with the way you gave things names is not the way you named them. It's the fact that you gave them names at all, when the game already has clearly defined methods that can be used to refer to the different build types. I was bickering about it because its just going to confuse newer players as opposed to help them. Face it, the terminology that is generally accepted is based on what Ryxa has stated above.
