Meh, I'm keeping myself occupied with steam sales while waiting for this game. For an action game, I'm fine with this in the upcoming month if it can keep my attention. (It's either soloing action games or socializing generic games with friends)

What's wrong with being grown and liking anime? Is a 50 year old man that enjoys eating candy make him childish? Who gives a rip what other people are into. As long as it doesn't hurt other people why should you honestly gaf?

Are you possibly referring to Xerxes Break? (Even though he's way over 50)

I'm usually amused at being challenged with incredulity for liking anime or playing video games at my age. I get to patiently remind people that my generation was the first to grow up with video games, and we're the ones making them now.
(actually, that's probably not so true. People my kids' age are the ones now making many of the games)
Vinyl records, rotary phones, 13 channels on your remote-less TV, Atari 2600, blah blah blah I'm "old".

How to get through any MMO without paying a cent in-game or IRL: Find a rich player and tell him you're a Japanese girl.

Not that old, but I had plenty of fun with VHS as a kid. I'm the generation that got targeted by the original Pokemon. Now I'm anime club president of my university and am wearing a GDC shirt right now. Go figure.

As for game developers, most of them are actually in their 30s or 40s, with a sizeable crowd rising up. Outside of the AAA industry it's a clusterfuck - after all, for every Notch you find, you also get one of these: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2b0tSu0QDQ0
