Well so far playing nonstop since it released at 1pm pacific, I've noticed that taking up the whole day was 12 levels... and my friend that did almost all the missions up to the 5 tools quest line is ALSO... level 12... I've seen such a better balance in exp in other games that don't have to make it 2/10ths earnings to make it a challenge. 14exp for killing a monster 10levels higher then you is fantastic... knowing it can 1-2 shot you at any moment... I helped 4 friends from the start so I haven't "rushed" I took my time with leveling and grinding is a pain that i feel will make me bore off the edge with this game knowing that its so very low of a variable. I grinded most of the day and only got about 3-4levels out of it seeing questing is the best way YET I'm at level 20 quest zones... I can't survive a single dungeon boss without me and my friend tag teaming and we still die within 1-3 hits anyhow. Its seems lacking to me how much of a let down a game could put on your friends that they can't level as efficiently because they are not used to mmorpgs and grinding is not as easy especially like I said, your basically a 1hit kill.
So i do see a bit of a problem with this 2/10ths exp. Not to mention the new players... I feel bad for them i run by dungeon to dungeon and see the higher levels just 1shot farming their kills for exp that is just sick. That is how you loose players. All I'm saying is that 2/10ths is sad... it feels demoralizing that you do so much in a dungeon to receive 340exp in SS in a Hell mode dungeon level 20. max i got was 541 and that was only once.
