Multiple same skills on one weapon

Hello. It is possible to have multiple of the same skill on one weapon?

I've seen someone and talked to him about how he has multiple Rapid shots and poison rapid shots on one bow, and how he got them but i've tried and this is what happens.

I've been trying to get either multiple or a combination of Rapid shot and poison rapid shots on my bow, but when i use a rapid shot skill card with a weapon that already has rapid shot on it, it won't let me, and when i use it on a bow with poison rapid shot, it replaces poison rapid shot with rapid shot every time so i can never have both.

can someone explain to me if i just have horrible luck, or am i doing something wrong?

A weapon can only have 1 of any skill on it. Though different ranks of a skill count as different skills. I haven't done extensive testing but I think the skill cards randomly choose in between the lowest ranking skills to replace. So if you have two rank 3 skills and one rank 2 poison rapid shot, it will replace the poison rapid shot.
At least I think that is how it works. I haven't really tested it.

not true at all. i had a weapon with 2 leaping strikes on it both were tier 1 had to use a skill card to change one of them so i had 3 different skills. instead of just 2 lol it's definitely possible to get the same skills on one weapon

You are right, though oddly enough 5 times in a row it picked the lowest skill out of 3 skills. IT can overwrite any skill.
And so far I haven't seen or hear anyone talk about two of the same tier of the same rank of the skill on a weapon. So if you truly had that, it must be rare.
