Daring/Rogue Class

I'm a bit confused by this class. A brief look around the forums showed many view it as a ranged dps with bows, and I can understand that due to the high dex. However the base build has just as much power as dexterity, so I would assume you could also be melee dps with just as much ease? Seems like it would be high crit dmg, whether with ranged or melee weapons. Any input/clarification on how to build this class would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

Either way works, however it can be difficult to go twin blades later on in the game due to their single-target duties, range, and the dangerous power of the bosses that basically instantly kill you if you don't block/dodge, especially if you're of the glass cannon kind.

I most certainly would be of the glass cannon variety. Shame. Though the long swords and such are pretty fantastic to play with as well, I must say. Thanks again for the clarification.
