They might demand PvP, but half the community who is asking to add PvP are most likely won't even take part in it, meaning they just like to have it there as an option.
About the "Nerf" issue, they could just add a special shop in Miroku that provides Arena gear. Instead of PvPing in town, and on map-fields, they could create an Arena-map, have players sign up, once a match is found it'll port them to the Arena.
In the Arena shop they could have special outfits as well, costumes that could only be purchasable through Arena-Points.
Since he mentioned Elsword above, i'm sure he's familiar with the Arena shop within Elsword that provides gear made for PvP.
If we have gear made and meant for PvP, "Nerfing" won't be needed.

~PvP Suggestions:
- Arena Map
- Arena shop (Within Miroku's)
- Arena Points to purchase special outfits/costumes(Not Arena Gear)
- Arena Gear (Within the Arena shop will be purchasable through Ryou)

~Check (Page 5) for more suggestions.
Check (Page 6) for feedback.

That is a good idea, the only bad thing about that is that there might be some unfair matchings. If they do, there should be a dedicated ranking system for PvP that should match you up with someone of similar rank. I myself and probably many others don't want to have weak equipment and go up against someone with really good equipment and be completely destroyed.

Otherwise, it's a great idea to implement PvP into the game, it would just need some fairness to it.

I can agree with a Ranking-system to select opponents of similar skill, issue with it however, once the Arena-system comes out, everyone will be the same Rank. Meaning you'll be fighting strong enemies regardless.
Some players like challenging their own friends to determine who is strongest, battles outside the Arena-system will not earn you Arena-points however. Before I continue, I would like to ask has anyone played "Free-Realms" few years back before they shutdown this year? The combat-system they provided was great, when challenging another to a duel, you and the opponent are both taken to a "Private-space" to battle it out. The private-space is a "copy" of the current map location you were currently in with a limited amount of space, meaning it's a small room so your opponent cannot run away. Best feature of this "Private-space" is that you're not disturbing other players, and random players don't get in your way either.
It's also similar to a Pokemon battle in a way I suppose you could say, to understand more you can check YouTube videos.

Now, I was looking over some suggestions from other players, someone mentioned "Mounts", I thought at first it was a good idea until I remembered we have the Rift and Moon-king. The Rift allows us to port to any Village for free, which would kinda defeat the purpose of a mount. Besides, if we did have mounts there would be a major lag issue considering we do not have a "Hide-player" option in our Option-menu yet. The lag issue won't double, but it will triple which would cause much problems in-game. Plus if we did have mounts, what exactly would we mount, a Yokai? Sorry but, I won't ride no ugly Yokai. (Joke)

Suggestions:
~Mounts (Suggestion found in "General-Discussion, Topic: Suggestions", not 100% supportive of this).

-Pets! (Pets that pick up Items, Adds stats to Main-player, Levels up to unlock new skills which can be used in Combat, Combo attack skills).
Combo Attacks meaning both the Pet & Owner fight together. You can be creative, the pet can turn into a weapon or something.
I honestly just want a pet to pick up items for me, kinda tired of running all the way back leaving the group to go pick up items off the floor.

Check (Page 6) for feedback

buff bows please. skill cooldowns are crazy long. skill sp cost is crazy high, and for what? 1/4 the damage a spear can do?

ty ty.

also the ougi skills aren't worth using. dark cannon seems fun, but you need to stand there forever to let off the 4 shots, and like stated above it does minimal damage and sometimes it doesn't even hit/knockback the monsters and they walk right through the blast and kill you. i recommend cutting the skill cast time in half, making it two shots, and add the damage of the other two to the remaining two.

Please don't change bows, they fill their niche well enough. Triple Rapid Shot V is OP enough as it is.

Well, the sake bottle that you are using there is said to reduce sake effects, i.e. Moon King's speed buff.

i vote for hte ignore option, it's so really annoying to see Sausage Pepperoni And Meat (SPAM) ALL DAY LONG!

Also, i would like to add an option to refer the game spam like (your inventory is full) or a n option that enable/disable text showing i chat about ryou gain or exp gained in the general chat

Greetings & Good Work CyberStep Team!

I've only been at MMOs for 5 months but of the few I've tasted this is the best so far! (and the music rocks!) Here are a few of my already posted takes on it!

I'm just a newbie so I don't know whether this idea makes any sense here, but how about having different weather conditions from blinding blizzards to hurricanes to play and slash in?

Another nice feature -- if Oni hasn't already have it -- is a kind of "Spirit/Ghost Mentor" mode where the starter novice player has the option of a mentor NPC companion who constantly guides and recommends the player into what he or she should or shouldn't do or buy or pick or use. The mentor would be like a passive walking manual and teacher going into details of weapon construction and drop and item value and how and where to use them which the trainee needs to grow and hone their skill. It can also advise and critique your attack strategy. It can be set to idealized "perfect" skill and weapon choice/purchase/enhancement suggestion settings or just hints of what you ought do. Yes, that's a tall order but it'd really help tame the complexity of all those equip and skill and enhance windows for a newbie (like me!) :D

I heard that to many, grinding is tedious and sometimes boring, so I was thinking that maybe for the next Onigiri version, why not a new "super grind" class where you option to search and destroy dozens of locally scattered different "outside dungeon" monsters (like in the fields beyond the Oni bridge) in a given sequence by type or color or navel number or whatever within a time limit and accomplishing it is the same as a subquest in scores and drops? (get it wrong or late and you lose an item you already have as a risk!) :D

I notice many very good Q&A's posted in various topics not meant to have them. Some of the player recommendations and suggestions are real gems! I hope CyberStep would create a kind of Q&A formatted database where experienced players could input their own game recommendations and suggestions as searchable answers and advice which would otherwise be too specific or scattered across the board and be duped too much in regular type topics! Just a thought! :D

Are there contests to see what's the smallest-sized team that can clear monsters like that or a whole dungeon to find the best "ace dream team" among players?

Hope these help!

Keep up the great work!!

This is a cool idea, wouldn't have thought of that really. It's very resource intensive though, and will add additional difficulty to the game. This should, if it gets implemented, be a by choice option.

There are already many guides out there that do this. Also, I really have a thing against games that tell you how you should play them, especially in a free-form environment like this. Learn from other players or by trial and error, and find your sweet spot. That's way better than being told how to play your character by the game. Building an in-game manual would be nice though. If mouseovers get implemented and skill descriptions get improved though, it wont be necessary.

So you mean.. like WoW dailies. Only with risk of losing things if you fail? WoW daily grind was bad enough, please no.

If people put their threads in the correct places, this wouldn't be necessary. Also, that's what mods are there for. In addition to making us behave and play nice, they should (Ideally) be closing dupe threads, and moving threads into correct forum boards.

People do stuff like that all the time in other games. If you're asking if there will be company sponsored events to do that? Odds are no. The players do a great job of figuring those things out themselves.

Bows are awesome. To be honest, if you're setting your stats right, and using good magatama's you shouldn't be having issues with bow damage. When I started using bow affinity maga's my bow damage increased significantly. Also, if you're using the right skills. Seems to me the bow has a lot of situational skills, more so than other weapons. Rapid shot is very powerful for its SP cost and CD time. Especially with a lot of DEX, crit makes multi-hit skills pretty broken. Also, the higher the skill rank, sp cost goes up hard. It's something to deal with. You want crazy high sp costs? Check out high end wand skills.

please implement trading option and allow costumes to be sold and trade between players this would actually encourage the player community to buy from the cybershop. Since if they don't get what they want they could always trade or sell with other players for what they really want. Instead of getting frustrated with a lottery system that usually gives thing that you don't want .
