No Right of Survivorship and Non-Transferability
You agree that your Account is non-transferable and any rights to your Account terminate upon your death. Upon receipt of a copy of a death certificate, your Account may be terminated and all contents therein permanently deleted including all balance of credits purchased but unused by you.

I found this in the ToS.
Now does any one care? Probably not... lolRebecca wrote:Lol have you ever played any game where the ToS doesn't state that the official ownership of your account belongs to the company, and you have no right to sell the account?
umm WoW? There's tons of forums specifically selling accounts, along with people who "flip" accounts. There's also a bunch for sale on eBay right now... Now I haven't read WoW's ToS, but I'm pretty sure if it was against the ToS, at the least there wouldn't be forums for selling accounts.
Rufei wrote:It's against ToS. Monetization of game assets is strictly under the purview of the developers/publishers, with a couple edge cases (and even those have tight restrictions). The reason why you can find people selling accounts is because of the enforcement of the policy. That being said, advertising a sale on the official game forums is about the most retarded thing you can do short of walking up to the GMs in person and asking them.
