at the current Endgame, people actually do need Healer for the current final boss in story mode ( on hell mode (S)he has insane amount of HP , and can kill a lot high levels.

Not to mention the boss in Central in Kaga Can poison player badly, and only a true MND user can keep them up cause the boss posion will hurt them badly, and there vines, an solar beam rain down from the sky, trondo's and a lot more going on in Hell mode, which an can't really be solo in 5 man group, unless they are Decked out with Chain maga that heal with crits, but most common player Won't have it/ Don't actually go there unless they want Tap Extracts.

I understand your coming from low level point of view, but the up 60 + will be harder and harder and there be more debuff's and deadly blows done , In Hades (located in Nether seki) if you don't have rapid storm (AoE Speed boost that help yourself/team) You and your team will be slow badly while fighting Hades and you can't just attack while super slow or you will be killed most likely.

also Not sure if most know there is thresh hold on the points to reach an skill maximum affect (with out the skill level going up)

As most people know skill go on the bases of Rank x 10 = Require MND - So let say you wanted to use an level 4 skill, so you need 40 MND, but to reach threshold (which add small bonus) you will need 50 MND. this is done on other skill and leveling up the skill increases the threshold/maximum amount then.

I guess, I was wrong leveling with support then.. The best way to support is to play as Attacker till around lv.60 and then switch to full support (while preparing the staffs and the Ougi Rapid Storm).

Perhaps creating a robot for support is a good idea to constantly buff/SP/HP refilling
IGN : Lynneth (lv.92/Reraised as Zombies) - Looking for more exciting experience..Rather than being depressed, better just play! :D. Let's grind for teamwork.. or not? :P :). Looking for party to grind lv.90+ weapon. Whisp me IGN!-In hiatus for 2 days-

No cause then everyone would level that character up , and just solo everything as an other class, and be done in dungeon without party's if they wanted to.

Some player / classes can't solo some bosses (example like The West Camp leader in Seki, or the East that would destroy range character. if they had a healer , it will nullify these weakness and the prevent soloin on some bosses become possible ,and then they wont need us supports and we'll be stuck in some dungeons due to an over number mob , vs most our single target skill/close range (soul strike)

Yes that what happens now. High level characters are looking for lower level character for SP, healing or buffs to farm ryou and drops.
And at higher level, the support/healer got more works, while get less rewards.

And my point still stands, why don't devs make the EXP division equal and also the lucky boxes please ^^

People who want to play Hardcore, and act like real bad-ass should try soloin' as a Staff, it more hard core then people think cause most your spell leave you open for awhile and if interrupted the spell doesn't cast , lol - but it amazing being staff vs hades, Holy destroy him >:D

That's a good point of view. For PvE yes, that's true. It would be the true challenge to solo boss ( I tried that soloing Benkei at lv.34 .. - Benkei at lv.43 ) :o

In PvP environment, I doubt staff users would hold out for long (no chance of winning without cheating or over level/equips). They would just be overwhelmed by the other classes. No def, no nothing. Only First Aid skills which can be cancelled with rapid shot. And all the attack spells are.. rather useless and cancellable/dodgable with the correct timing.

But for secondary weapon, staff is quite good I think. Not as main weapon though

Why are you concerned about staff for a game feature that doesn't even exist? How do you know the pvp in this game will work out?

I'm a primary staff user too, but all we can do is translate the JP version of the game's patch notes and see if they have acknowledged our woes and make changes for the better of being a healer/support and also an attacker.

Miss Lynneth, We have attack that do target and follow them/have range.

holy light is a fast long range attack, as Chase Blister Is slow but causes flinches (where the mob move back an inch) - these can follow mobs twist and turns.

Soul strike and Holy Breathe are close range almost Melee. Rolling Thunder is an AoE Melee attack. holy Pillar will cast an Pillar 10m in the Direction you are facing.

No to mention we have skill a lot like Sanctuary is like an stationary outpost., we can heal our HP quickly if there was PvP also, we would most likely have bodyguard system , cause unlike PvE player wont stop pursuit/ if they take moment to heal they would be PK by a other.

Also CelestialRebirth, in almost any MMO has some type PvP feature now , so the player will always expect the worst to come, but in PvP healer are loved and fear by all. People don't think , all the player who carry in Hell , that do need healer would die in PvP cause they can't live getting hit by mob/crit's.

But that matter done I can help you with Benki if he to hard for you to solo/can't find group to party with.i'm planning to be in that area and grind Odin for awhile.

Hey there,

I read the forum since CBT and usually I'm not too motivated to post but I thought I could do it for once.
So, long story short, I leveled a wand full wis char (nearly lvl 53), a full pow (lvl 20) and currently a full mind staff user (nearly lvl 30). And during CBT I played a vit/mnd (75/25) and a wis/mnd (50/50).

While it can't be denied melee are vastly ahead in terms of how easily you can clean the dungeons, I feel like it's not as bad as people make it sound for staff user provided you go full mind. Because really, it makes a very noticeable difference between being hybrid and being pure something, for both melee and spellcasters.
Wand user might be pretty good late game, but it's only from about lvl 40 that the magic starts kicking in and before you're really wondering why you created that character. Believe it or not, but from what I have seen so far my pure mind even have life a bit easier than what my pure wis (and much more than my wis/mnd) and I have yet to be unable to solo content I wanted to. For instance, since that's in one of the last post, I recently soloed Benkei at lvl 29, provided it took me 25 min to clean the dungeon and a few careless deaths (not even to Benkei... I have this bad habit to try to finish with normal attacks some mobs to save mana...). It can take time, but it's never "hard" to solo the content. Now don't get me wrong, I agree that melee are miles ahead, however I wanted to share my experience on the pure vs hybrid. Going hybrid gives more options and it's fun to feel versatile, but it hurts more than it looks during the leveling in my opinion so keep that in mind.

Anyway, I agree on the lucky boxes request, no reason for it to work differently than the other drops. As for experience, sharing equally is not a bad idea as it could reduce leeching, but if it were to happen I'm not convinced yet that staff user would be chosen over other classes. Some people said that for some 5-man hell dungeons in Kaga a healer is a must have, which is nice but previous levels should not be neglected. Well I'll shape a better opinion later on I suppose.
And it looks so obvious but I would say that magic users need much more love for their early levels  .
