You said the game treat supports as leecher, but what if its actually the opposite? The game is treating leechers as a support, the 1/3 exp is supposed to be given to the supports

Would it actually make you feel any better if the game gives 1/5 exp to the leechers instead? (If possible lol)

. It's only suggestion, why take it to heart? And, it's all up to you to add your stats.
You can become hybrid, become pure, or whatever you want to be with your toon or whatever creatures it is.

My point, is not to limit you need/have to/must have minimum stat of xx. Instead, the point is, the party leader CAN determine, what kind of people he/she wants in his/her party.
If you want to have party of leechers, then free all the way.
If you want to have a serious party, he/she can determine, for example, like TERA ingame which every player is judged based on equipment rating. Below the minimum equipment rating, you can be kicked from party.

So, went looking for a grind party today. First response I got was 'No one does that anymore'. Should I give up looking for people to grind with and have fun with or become a leecher before becoming a carrier. I'm tired of the endless grind on my own as it's become rather dull. And I don't see Cyberstep boosting the exp they give us any time soon to what Japan is like. So should I give up my solo carrier and become a leech until I become a carry?

That's fine as long as the item and Ryou drops are reduced for leechers also. I mean, the entire point was that supports and leechers got treated the same by the game so if you nerf leechers and keep supports the same then that works out to be the same anyways.

But to be honest, that would just put a even larger level gap between the carries and everyone else so there's that to think about but we can always deal with that eventually.

I would prefer the game devs create some new game mechanics to reward support player better than the current system rather than gives 1/5 EXP to the leechers.

At least, leechers has an effort to apply to group. I don't feel any better by giving other less reward, instead, reward each player equally based on his/her contribution to the team/party.

And I highly doubt this would go to the dev of this game.

More suggestions = more work to the developer which will not give $$ to them

Well, C$ is one of the few companies I can actually say "Nexon is better" to so there's always that xD. I mean Nexon's money grubbing and has terrible customer service but at the very least, issues with their games get fixed some way or the other (actually now that I think about it, most of their games really don't have many issues in the first place).
