A spear will clear most dungeons faster than wands. Unless mages start blooming at level 100, they are still extremely weak as of echigo.

I'm certain this is just a property of Echigo dungeons, that is, they are hard to clear with slow casting ranged attacks. Bows don't clear dungeons as fast as spears (or swords for that matter), at 12mins (~9 with support) for Estate and 16mins (~13 with support) for Hermit.

Ahh, cautious type? I see you're increasing your vit stats as well at that lvl, but it's better if you reach that 100 total wisdom first (only 2 points left  ). Not that much different with SP cost reduction with 90 wisdom, but still need to do it.
I remember lynneth posted the screenshot of his/her own stats, and realize he/she already hybrid the stats wis/mind by 40/42 at lvl 34. Now i know where that frustration came from

I figure a couple of levels or maybe another stat point boost from Amaterasu may fix my 2 point wis problem, lol.

I have been saving points up, though, wis is now hitting 14 pts an increase and a level just may not cut it sometimes.

now that we are talking about Echigo, I seem to be stuck. I have heard rumors that I need to be 60? curse my lack of levels if its true then.

Otherwise, I may have just missed a convo or two by the third line.

Ah well, I'll figure it out.

Well, you can get another bonus stat from amaterasu when she's lvl 14, and 3rd one on lvl 17 (with our content cap, it's only 16 now). So it wont be a problem anymore. Good stats though
For echigo, i'll just quote it:

Actually, they don't have to be 60 to do Echigo/ do the outside dungeons , by to do the estate , under/sado, they will have to get to 60 , cuase of susano, but they can do the other quest in the high way , without 60.

Just like they can get to Echigo, without being level 60 as so many thing. Just saying.

bolded the important part you seemed to just ignore. just like you always do.

I finish hokurikudo and echigo main quest when im lvl 66. Even though lvl 66, im still using lvl 55-56 wand when i cleared it.
If you have a problem when trying to clear it, judging by your stat/mag/equip, maybe it's your magatama. You really need some damage boost from skill force magatama.

Well, given that I do have over 30 vit, I use two Enma Mags to dishout an extra 104% dmg boost, so damage isn't too much of an issue for me.

Really, just shooting one Ice Glaive 7 can clear a room for me, and any stragglers I can take out one by one with lower skills.

I'm not quite done with Amaterasu at level 14...if I remember, I think she is at 11...probably...gonna check right now.

Edit: yep, below 14.

So, off I go to bamboo well for some six minute hell runs! Yay 67k exp on a 200 booster!

Credit to spirea, i recommend prospector's forest as one of your alternate training ground as well.
Not that much different exp with bamboo, but you can clear it with 3 minutes, or under 3 mins if you already have a decent gears. Go try it ;)

Oh, and also, have fun :!:

Hi, Hisashiburi, how're you doing?
Thanks for your concern. And thanks for your help before.
Yes, I'm hybrid type, wis/mind (now more to wis), but I have difficulties finishing normal enemies... Should focus on one stat actually. And.. still not yet getting any Ougis/a good skill lv VII from gatcha ;_;. And now I'm stuck in Nyarluhotep. She can OHKO me easily with her.. lightning blast.. :o
I perhaps want to lastly open my two gatchas and see whether I'll quit or continue  .
If it's 400% EXP/smelting/crafting fortune again, well, goodbye then   .

Hello, Rocksilver.

I'm wondering whether your VIT is useful? Where did you get your Ice Glaive 7? How much damage do you inflict to enemies in your level right now?
IGN : Lynneth (lv.92/Reraised as Zombies) - Looking for more exciting experience..Rather than being depressed, better just play! :D. Let's grind for teamwork.. or not? :P :). Looking for party to grind lv.90+ weapon. Whisp me IGN!-In hiatus for 2 days-

The Vit is very much helpful, the squishy wizard in me has some padded armor clocking in at 3000 hp, give or take 50.

I grabbed one Ice Glaive 7 from a story mission? or was that the first gacha ticket? don't remember.

The other two were from a bought gacha roll and another ticket. I wasn't too into the clothing...didn't like the styles they had.

Nowadays, I wish I could roll for that armor, I could really look like a tough guy, lol.

I can't say what the damage output was from the beginning, but at level 40 skill, Ice Glaive 7 can do up to 4000 damage times three, since it hits three times per enemy. Useful strike spell for anything really. I ran that Ice cavern in Echigo using just Ice Glaive 7 and still mowed them down like weeds. For a cave full of monsters that were resistant, they weren't feeling a nip in the air, hah!

Hellfire 7 is a singular target nuke spell and from weakened creatures to fire, it does up to 15k dmg from my end. For resistant creatures, it does 7-8k damage. YMMV however, but spells like that, when properly trained and supported by stats, are a sight to behold.

I was speaking to a friend of mine who saw me in action and she wondered if the Wis count had some effect the way healing spells does for MND stats. It was interesting enough to ask here, in the magic section. If anyone could point me in the right direction for this hypothesis, would appreciate it.

Essentially, Hybridization should happen late in builds. for a wis/mind hybrid, Wis must come before all until 100 then the rest can be put to secondary and or tertiary stats such as mind or Vit. I put Vit in myself to not only reap Enma's Maga bonues, but also to survive out in the field a lot longer. Mind to me is a secondary stat, where I feel that making sure they stay down is a bit more important than healing in a stationary circle like sanctuary. Not that I'm dismissing the potential of pure mind healers, but we all need a way to defend ourselves and pure stats don't hack it here, at least not without some major carrying around.

Let me think for a moment..... Emm, actually, yes and no. First of all, do you know that healing magics (or some healing magic, i only test it with energy ball skill) can do crit heal? *Dont quote me on this one, and ofc, cmiiw*
And yes, adding wisdom means you get a critical stat as well, not as much as dex stat though (iirc, 24 wis for 1 crit, and 12 dex for 1 crit)
But still, mind is your primary stat when it comes to staff's skill. As you know, each rank (I, II, III, etc) need certain amount of mind to be maximal (duration and amount of the healing). Most people said, rank I need 10 total mind, rank II need 20 total mind, and so on.
And again, most people that going hybrid for mind, increase their mind stat to 50 or 60 max, in order to use rapid storm (rank V) or meditation/extend heal (rank VI).

And, little tips about squishy wizard. Maybe you wanna try to use liquor called "benten's blessing". It's prevent mobs/bosses to 1HKO you FOR ONCE. Try it, and see for yourself
