If you guys think it's hard then you need to go play an easier game. Our group will probably be the highest levels if this is who we have to contend with.

My point is that this game isn't even THAT hard and that everyone is a crybaby. God forbid a game has a bit of a challenge. There are CHALLENGING aspects of the game so far, that's it. Everyone is butthurt that they can't complete every single dungeon their first try.

The game has a perfect balance. let me explain why. it's because the game itself is easy.
You can play through higher level content without much problem. You don't have to actually meet the recommended level to get easily through a dungeon.
However, stuff starts to fall in places when you need to upgrade your weapon. You're level X, and the weapons that drop for you are about 10-20 levels above yours. For when you can equip that weapon, you'll be in need fo something even better, thus repeating the loop. I'm still using the same wooden bow I started the game with.
In the end, you are always several levels under what's supossed to be your content current content.
Eventually, your level gap will fall so behind that you actually need to backtrack heavily, in order to grind an ammount of levels at least equal to your current level.
The game is easy enough to go with the current exp rate, but in order to make this an effective choice, everything else needs to be rebalanced; dungeons, monsters, level requirements ,drop tables, etc, since all of these details are balanced for a greater exp rate.
This means that even while the actual game is easy, it is meant to be even easier than it actually is.

The only thing that I'm not happy about is that I'm getting weapons too high from my level, and I can't even try the skills to see which is better to use as a base and make a +20 or +30 unlock.

If the expcurve was working as originally intended, these weapons would be dropping at your current level, because your current level would be higher at that point of the game.
Where X is the moment you first enter a dungeon.
Essentially, it's like all they did was lower exp rate and leave everything else one and the same.
